Scientific Conference "Contemporary Problems of Organic Chemistry"

In the city of Novosibirsk starting from the 5th of June ending the 9th the Scientific Conference "Contemporary Problems of Organic Chemistry"
had been held. It was devoted to the
100th anniversary of the
outstanding chemist Academician N. N. Vorozhtsov.

Leading Russian scientists and
specialists from Novosibirsk, Moscow, Ekatherinburg, Irkutsk, Ufa and other
cities took part in the Conference. The representatives of companies and
universities of the USA, Germany, France, Georgia, Kazakhstan and other
countries participated in the Conference as well.

During the Conference about 46 plenary and oral reports and also over
180 poster reports were made in three sessions. By approbation of Conference
Organization Committee theses of all reports will be published in our
journal. As prepared full texts of a number of reports will be published as
well upon the agreement of authors. We are planning to translate the
Conference theses into English.
